Background
Helius aimed to gain credibility in the medical technology market among appropriate patients and clinics throughout Canada for their new technology, the PoNSTM (Portable Neuromodulation Stimulator).
The Ask
Support the market rollout of PoNSTM treatment, the first non-invasive medical device to restore lost function in people who have suffered a brain injury, in conjunction with physical therapy.
The Result
Through targeted media relations efforts including the development and pitching of media story angles across health, innovation and business categories, we secured media interviews for company spokespeople during Brain Injury Awareness Month, which raised Helius’ profile at the RehabWeek 2019 conference in Toronto. This resulted in a targeted op-ed and 64 media stories with a total potential audience of 73 million.
